Award Winners

Independent panel results from the competitions that actually taste blind.

About this collection

Not all olive oil competitions are equal. The ones worth citing — the London International Olive Oil Competitions, NYIOOC, Evooleum, Athena and the Concours Général Agricole — judge blind, use trained panels working to IOC method, and publish their scoring criteria.

A medal is a snapshot of one sample on one day, which is why we always pair it with the current batch analysis. An estate that won gold in 2023 tells you the producer is capable; the 2025 lab report tells you what is actually in the bottle you are buying.

Where an award refers to a previous harvest rather than the one in stock, we say so explicitly on the product page.
